Our Nominations for Best of the Net 2010
[Roxane Gay / September 14th, 2010 / Self-congratulatory Nonsense & Shiny & Young Bright Things ]It’s always difficult to choose from the wonderful work we publish in our magazine when it comes time to nominate writers for recognition. As my co-editor said to me this morning, “We should just nominate the whole thing,” and he’s right because we fall in love with everything we publish. That said, we cannot nominate everyone so here are our nominees for the Best of the Net. Our nominees are some of the stories and poems we would grab if the magazine were on fire. Good luck, writers!
Fiction
Anne Leigh Parrish for Snow Angels
Shanna Germain for Big Red
Poetry
xTx for Do You Have a Place For Me
Rachel Andelman for Harquebus
Gregory Sherl for The Oregon Trail Is a Lonely Place to Die From Syphilis
J. Bradley for How Esmerelda Estrus Got Her Revenge
Carrie Murphy for The Strongest Men in Town
Ori Fienberg for Revolution

Thanks from this author, too, for the nomination. I’m so delighted and honored. And, having just read the other stories and poems, I am so proud to be in such fine company.

Why dont you retreat from all this useless distraction poop and aim on factors which really matters for us those days. Please start checking some alternative news media for instance infiniteunknown.net or naturalnews.com – these people have the news, the well known mass media keeps away from us.
I have noticed that online diploma is getting popular because attaining your degree online has become a popular choice for many people. Quite a few people have never had an opportunity to attend a normal college or university nonetheless seek the raised earning potential and career advancement that a Bachelors Degree offers. Still some others might have a college degree in one course but would wish to pursue one thing they now develop an interest in.
