PANK ON FILM!
[Roxane Gay / September 27th, 2010 / Young Bright Things ]Some MTU students made a video about PANK and it’s pretty damn great. Check it out! See Shane Jones! Ethel Rohan! Kirsty Logan! M. Bartley Seigel shows off our t-shirt and says things. I say awkward things. Clicky clicky clicky.
PANK: A Function of the Technology from Justin Jones on Vimeo.

the self-mocking, mockumentary-ish moments (the typo on kirsty’s name, Matt getting the UP pop wrong) are hilarious!!!
Soooooooooo embarrassing. But awesome, still. Thanks for getting this posted, Roxane.
Very, very nice!!! I miss my Pank friends.
Nice indeed. I love the Where’s Waldo? page. I also diG the decomP screenshot, of course.
Roxane has a sexy voice.
I like that my contribution is mostly name-fuss!
[...] PANK Magazines Blog features an awesome video about writing and technology, here. [...]
So cool to watch this and see folks talking about a magazine I admire to no end. And since I don’t get a chance to watch many videos online, seeing Ethel and Kirsty and hearing them speak and hearing Roxane speak, this was a thrill for me because I’ve only ever corresponded with them through emails, etc. Wow, if I don’t get to D.C. for AWP, I’m gonna die. I mean, the blood might stop flowing in my veins, and this video, the subject of PANK and the subject of the scene itself right now, wills me to make some kind of effort to meet these folks and see them as often as I can. You guys are amazing. Great video.
