In November, was Mike Rosenthal’s “Crumbles and Gumbles”.  Mike answers questions about his ideas, boats and drinking with his parents.

1. What nickname would you be called if you were in a power couple?

Guy Fieri.

2. What do you drink with your parents to bond with them?

Something fruity with very little alcohol. Like a Fuzzy Navel, easy on the navel. Anything to make them ashamed to be seen with me in public.

3. Where did you get the idea to crossover Christopher Columbus with Leif Ericson?

We were learning about Christopher Columbus in class, and instead of studying for my exam, I decided to make up facts about him, like his rivalry with the burly Leif Ericson. I did not completely fail that exam. Not completely.

4. What fictional boat would you be a captain of?

The USS Delicious. We sail the seven seas of space, delivering flavor to third world planets and fighting terrorism. There are no prisoners, only deliciousness.

5. What would be your nickname if you were a crew member on a boat?

Captain Guy Fieri.

6. Ramming speed or retreat? Why?

Retreat, but only as a ruse. When the enemy hubris-charges and gets in range, I release the killer bees. It’s called “The Honey Pot” and it always works.
