• InsideOut Literary Arts Project, based out of Detroit Michigan, and started by writer Terry Blackhawk in 1995, is a movement to bring the innovative teaching of literature to high school students.  InsideOut places professional creative writers in classrooms and allows the creativity to flow, keeping literature alive through a love and understanding of the written word.
