Karen Munro finished her MFA in Fiction at the Iowa Writers' Workshop in 1999. She has published work in Grain, Glimmer Train, The Pacific Northwest Reader, and elsewhere. She writes articles and author interviews for Reading Local Portland (http://portland.readinglocal.com/), and occasionally posts words to her own blog, Munrovian (http://munrovian.wordpress.com.) She's working on a novel about strangeness in the Great Northwest.
