What the What?

Founded in 2006, the nonprofit literary arts collective [PANK] – PANK Magazine, Pankmagazine.com, the PANK Books, the Invasion Readings Series – fosters access to emerging and experimental poetry and prose, publishing the brightest and most promising writers for the most adventurous readers. To the end of the road, up country, a far shore, the edge of things, to a place of amalgamation and unplumbed depths, where the known is made and unmade, and where unimagined futures are born, a place inhabited by contradictions, a place of quirk and startling anomaly. [PANK], no soft pink hands allowed.

An unpacking of “pank” can be found  here and  here.

[PANK] is  a proud member of the  Council of Literary Magazines & Presses (CLMP) and the  Association of Writers & Writing Programs (AWP).

[PANK] is distributed by Ubiquity and Disticor, but we encourage you to order directly from us.

[PANK] is supported by readers and writers like you and by the generosity of Michigan Technological University.

Direct all non-submission correspondence to [PANK] / 311 Walker Arts &  Humanities  Bldg. / 1400 Townsend Dr. / Houghton, MI 49931, or email awesome@pankmagazine.com. For all submissions, go here.
